Form & Function explores editorial design as a system of controlled disruption. The publication is built on the idea that structure enables experimentation.

Design Direction

A modular grid serves as the foundation, but elements intentionally break its boundaries — headlines shift, images bleed, columns expand. The contrast between rigidity and freedom creates visual rhythm.

Typography is the protagonist. Overscaled titles, unexpected alignments, and shifts in weight guide the reader through the narrative. Negative space becomes a compositional tool rather than an absence.

Outcome
